so lets talk about how every good book that comes out they butcher it in thaters. ok i understand that they only have about two hours to put on film and they have budget to follow. but you would assume that apart from entertainingthey would include key facts. ok i saw the twilight movie but i couldnt get myself to read the books. anyways besides the point my cousin Ivy was talking about how they failed to mention a lot of details. so wouldnt that factor make it harder to make the sequels? we just have to wait and find out..., but personally they should mae thisbok into a movie just add the dawg gawn facts!!!

I agree with you Izzy! If they're going to make the movies they need to put the little facts in as well as the important facts.
I think the house of night series would make a good movie and an even better tv series

I agree with Izzy as well... I was very disappointed after I saw Twilight, and so were a lot of other people who had read the book. However some people who did not read the book thought the movie was great. I would love to see a movie about Marked. Something is in the works, but it's not official yet. I found the following at www.pccast.net " Lots of you keep asking about a House of Night movie. I don’t have any new news right now. Yes, the books have been optioned by the fabulous Michael Birnbaum at Empire Productions. No, there is no movie in production at this moment. I correspond with Michael regularly, and I love the passion he has for the books, and the dedication he’s shown to be sure he finds the perfect venue for bringing the House of Night alive. So, just be patient (same as Kristin and I have to be!), and I’ll be sure to post updates as I’m able. Oh – NO, Kristin and I will not have anything to do with casting the movie. We’re leaving that to the experts."

In regards to the House Of Night Series becoming a Movie...I must say I would rather it be a t.v. series rather than a movie. At this point i can't picture it as a movie.....
and too add i too agree with Izzy...Y do a movie on a book when your not going to put the important facts in...and stick to how the book describes things. In twilight they had Edward shimmering rather than glowing, if I'm not mistaken the book said he glowed or something to that affect....i know it wasn't shimmering like glitter....

I would love to see this movie as a book......I think we would get a better idea of the intentions of the characters and see another creative prespective of the book...even if our imaginations are different and usually turn out better than the movies.
