Here you can post your comments or book review for Hush, Hush. Synopsis For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment. But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel. For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

I have to start by saying that I absolutely love the book cover! The cover gets a 5 from me! Unfortunately the book is a different story. I gave it a 4 because I could not give it at 3.5. I was very excited when I received the book in the mail. I even gave it a green pass and moved it up in my pile of books to be read. I did read the book in two sittings, but I strongly feel that this book was like a roller-coaster ride. It started out slow, then it picked up the pace and got better. There were a few chapters in the middle of the book were I could not put the book down. I like Nora and Patch. I liked the chemistry between them in the book. I was not very fond of Nora's best friend Vee. Her character could be very annoying at times. What really made me give this book a low score was the rushed ending. I know that this is the first book in a series, but the last chapters in the book were very short. As I was reading I felt like my book was missing pages. I will read the second book because I am curious to see what the author will do with the story plot. The second book will not get a green pass...It will wait it's turn... lol

I just finished Hush, Hush and I gave it 3 stars. The book cover was awesome and I was very excited to read this book about a fallen angel and the forbidden love and an ancient battle that this book offered however, I do not feel that was the case. Like Ivy, I agree that there was chemistry however, I do not see the so-called forbidden love or the battle between the fallen and the immortal. I do agree the ending was rushed and I felt that all the answers to the questions happened in the end with very little detail. With the way it ended, I don't see how their could be a book 2 but I will read it cause the whole concept is interesting.

2 Stars The book cover is nice, but does not make up for the bad read. I really did not enjoy this book at all. The weak female protagonist (Nora) and controlling boyfriend (Patch) did not do it for me in this book. I will not be reading book 2 or any other book in this series.
