I think PC and Kristin are getting back on track with this series. I actually really enjoyed this book.It was so much better than the previous two.
Now we just have to wait for the next book to see how this all plays out. I hope they don't fall back on all the boy drama stuff and slow moving storylines in the next one..this was left on a high note(IMO) and can't wait for the next book.
I really liked the multiple POV's.I'm glad we didn't get much of Zoey in this book,I thought her parts we're the worst in this book.I though all that wandering in the grove was a waste of time,I wanted to keep seeing the others trying to figure out a way to get to her. But Heath leaving was sad.
Stevie Rae,now has the boy drama, but I didn't find it as annoying as Zoey's always was.I thought her parts were the best. And Rephaim,he has some decisions to make I think he will eventually choose Light and will become human(but that's another book)
Aphrodite and Stark had great parts too. She's proving to be a loyal friend(to all of them) and was the one that did what needed to be done.I'm glad we didn't see much of the twins but would have liked to see more of Damien. The bit of twin speak we did get (which I think was a sentence or two) was enough for me,I hate when they do that.
Stark finding his heritage and becoming a Guardian was a great addition to the story, now to wait and see how that all plays out.
Of course it was left with some cliffhangers,Dallas,Rephaim, neferat and Kalona, what is Zoey's next step.
A small thing that I liked was the actual swearing..although Zoey did her annoying bullpoopie stuff once or twice.Stark has quite the potty mouth.lol.
