I am excited to see how this one turns out, but I'm not too miffed with waiting. I have a whole lot of reading to keep me company until it arrives. (I ordered online.)

MWAHAHAHAHA!!! In case it's not immediately obvious, I have read Silver Borne. Spoiler only for those that have finished the book. I really loved how she finally dealt with Samuel. I've been waiting for that since book three and it was about time. However, being the hysterical pro-Stefan fangirl that I am, I was so sad that Stefan was mentioned only once! It was Iron-Kissed all over again in that respect, though it had quite a happier ending. And with the Silver Borne thing, I totally thought it was going to be the walking stick and not the book. Did anyone else think that?

Maybe it's me, but I felt that it was lacking something, other than that I enjoyed it. I did feel a little` cheated through with Samual getting a mate (they are mates right?), nothing to it just there you go, I didn't care for that part. I mean I glad he got one, I've been waiting for that to happen, just not the way it did. There could have been a little more with Adam and Mercy, too. So, now that mercy has no place to live, is she going to stay with adam for good or wait and find a new place And where is samual stayin' in all this, with Ariana? I also thought maybe it was the walking stick but than I thought maybe the book had like a secret code or something in it oyu had to read, not some little staute thingy

Ok, let me start off by saying that I really love this series but Silver Borne kinda let me down. I was dissappointed especially with Sam and Arianna. I mean here comes this fae that we never heard of before and all of a sudden she was his love from centuries before. I kinda expected more but I guess that's why she's gonna do a whole spinoff series on Sam. I miss Stefan and the other vampire characters. I felt like action was missing. There weren't any real big fights and I was kinda hoping for some Overall I did like the book I just expected more.

I think part of it may have purely been that she has less time to write it than she used to (what with also keeping up with the Alpha and Omega series), and maybe she's doing things a little less enthusastically than she did in the first couple of books. I miss the vampires, too. It throws me off balance when she totally ignores them for a book because, so far as I can tell, they are the only ones she does that with (It's Iron Kissed all over again).
