...wrote the Aspect of Crow fantasy series and the current WVMP urban fantasy series. She's one of my favorites. If you like vampires and rock n' roll, read the latter series. It's awesome! The vampires are original, but not in the ridiculous "sparkly" sense. They're all stuck in time, the decades they "died" in. Anyway, they are all part of a radio station, WVMP, which is being threatened by a corporation that is trying to buy them out. These vampires need their music to stay connected with their time, or they'll fade away. So obviously this is a problem. The protagonist of the book, Ciara (keer-ah), an ex-con artist, is hired as an intern at the radio station. She decides, as a new marketing technique, to have the vampires pretend to be vampires publically. Of course, this causes problems with the real vampire society.
