Michele writes for harlequin, so her works are romance, but she writes some good paranormal stuff. Check her out at: www.michelerhauf.com/

Kiss Me Deadly by Michele HaufI really liked this book. The story picked up right away and went right to the end. I enjoyed Nickolaus and Ravin's relationship.I thought it was funny how he was swooning over her after the love spell and she was trying to push him away and he'd have none of that. even the door crashing scenes were funny. Ravin was a tough ass chick that realizes she needs and wants to love and to stop hating. When the spell was broken I couldn't believe where they were. And how he reacted. She's finally ready to tell him she loves him and bam Himself breaks the spell. Himself was an interesting character, the devil,I liked how the author made people see him, their hearts desire.Conniving little ass he was. Gabriel was one character I would have liked to see more of. And Nickolaus not killing Truvin(the spineless, gutless coward) for his death ticked me off. I get he wants to be a non violent vampire, but I would have at least kicked his ass and made him suffer a bit. He even stirs up trouble with the werewolves then runs away. It was nice to read how Nickolaus slowly realizes it just wasn't the love spell, he truly did love her.
The ending was a cliffhanger and I will have to check out the authors site to see if there is a sequel to this. I would like to know when their son grows up how they are gonna deal with the bargain with the devil.
