I hate buying gifts... don't get me wrong. I love giving gifts to friends and family. I just hate not knowing what to get them. I am always afraid that they will not like what I give them. What do you hate the most about hate/dislike the most about the holiday season?

well, we all gathered together!!! The noise and to pretend being nice is one of my weakness *grin*. I mean, it's really nice to celebrate christmas season with the whole family, no question with that... but it's my hubby's family not my own...so I need to be nice... and I hate thinking too, what's the best present I could give....NOW it's fast approching...I'm not really happy about it.

I love visiting my hometown during winter break. I get to see family I won't see for the next two years on one day. There's great food and great games.
This year, I feel sort of bad because all my money is being spent flying home. Gift-giving was one of my favorite parts--I know my family and I usually hit the mark with gifts. No gifts for anyone this year. Also, a lot of my other family isn't doing well monetarily, so it might be a sour holiday. But who knows.

The one thing I truely dislike about the holidays is all the we have to go now. Everyone is in a big fury. Slow down and remember what the season is really about. Spending time with loved ones, making memories. Its not about spending money. There are to many people in the world that need to be reminded of this. Deana

This year I hate not being able to buy as many presents as I want and not knowing what to buy. Other than that I love everything about the holiday season! ;D

The music. In Canada, it starts the day after Halloween. So you can well imagine how much of it I hear!

ummmm....
I hate black friday, it's impossible to buy anything whatsoever no matter if it's groceries books i hate not being able to hear anything but christmas music. don't get me wrong i love it, but it starts WAY too early. I dislike not being able to find anything in a store cuz it's christmas and it's all sold out. i hate if i wanna buy something on an online website that i have to wait to get it till after christmas cuz it's either sold out or there's too much being shipped. that sucks especially if you wanna buy presents for your family. i hate the fights that inevitably happen at ALL of my family get togethers.... it happens every time...
that's it... but the rest of it i love ;D

I hate that Christmas music and decorations go up right after Halloween! Hate all of the high expectations that are usually crushed, because no one really has a Norman Rockwell Christmas. Hate not knowing what to buy for people, and them refusing to give me so much as a hint. But I love getting presents and that people try to be nicer than usual! *L*

I do have to agree it seems as the Christmas season starts earlier every year. I wish they would let it come when it is time.
My biggest complaint about the Christmas, and all holidays, is how we just run, run, run. Everyone seems to have forgotten the feeling that goes with the holidays. There are many people out there who are nice and great, but there are a lot of people out that are mean and just out for the buck - whether to buy or get.
Also, with our families being divorced we have lots of places to go to get everyone in. And NO ONE is ever happy with the arrangements. They say they understand but I don't think they truly do. They didn't have the divorced parents like we have now.
I love to have the Christmasie feeling, but lose it quickly because I can't seem to make everyone happy. That really bums me out...
