This book is the second installmant of The Hunger Games. I was very excited to read this book after reading the first one. It kept me shocked and I couldn't put it down although there were some points where I was like where is this going to go. It starts off when Peeta and Katniss arrive home after winning the games. But what lies ahead is not easy for no one goes unpunished for defying the president and his capitol. Some parts were shocking and I can't wait to see what happens in the third book which is due out 8/24. I do recommend this series.

Catching Fire, just like Hunger Games, kept me turning the pages. I have to say again thanks to friends of mine because without them I would never have read these great books. I didn't like the idea of human hunting let alone with children, but even though you know this is going on it is almost like its not. Particurally in this book. I love where the story goes here and can not wait till August for the third and final book to come out. I was kind of bummed with the ending only because it is a cliff hanger for me. Have to say I enjoyed every second of the book. Just mesmerized with it! I don't know if it is okay to add this link here but here is my link to my blog with my review for Catching Fire: melissa-melsworld.blogspot.com/2009/10/book-review_10.html

Posting links to reviews is fine as far as I can tell. Just did my own review here.

I really enjoy discussing books as well. Thanks for the link, cause now I am following you as well. Don't know how I have not come across your blog before - you have lots of great books I am looking forward to reading or have read.
