Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack? Yep, I snack while reading. Usually it's chocolate, brigadeiro ( a candy that as far as I know is only made in Brazil)....

If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away? I usually look for it right away. Specially when I'm reading in english or spanish.

Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack?
I don't generally snack when I read, I'm always scared that I'll get something on the book (anything more saddening than a book ruined with sauce of some type?). Sometimes I'll drink water, orange juice, or milk when reading, though. Now that I think about it, it's not much better >.>
Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
I sometimes wish I had the courage to write in a book....I mean, it's paper, right? WRONG! It takes great courage to turn a pencil on a book....Besides, what I say will be so useless that it will just ruin it =P
How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears?
I usually tear off the corner of a piece of notebook paper and use that. Sometimes, when I'm trying to pace myself, I'll cut along the blue lines on the notebook paper and use each section as a marker for a new chapter. I'll only dog-ear if I don't have any other paper. Once you dog ear a page, it's always dog eared.
Laying the book flat open?
I find myself doing that sometimes and it bugs the heck out of one of my friends but I try not to do it often. It ruins the spine.
Fiction, Non-fiction, or both?
BOTH! lol.
Hard copy or audiobooks?
Hard copy =]
Are you a person who tends to read to the end of chapters, or are you able to put a book down at any point?
I prefer to read at the end of chapters that way I can plead later, "Just one more chapter please!!!!!" But I can just drop off at any points. I do that in writing also. I'll just trail off in the middle of the sentence "....Drake's eyes were huge. He was completely in shock at...". It drives another friend crazy.
If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away?
Nah =P I'll go find my mother and then she'll tell me what it means. If not I don't feel like fetching the monster dictionary. Seriously, you could use it at an 8 pound weight.
What are you currently reading?
Currently I'm still trying to slug my way through Dante's Equation. Don't get me wrong, it's a good book but it's slow reading when you're in school and such.
What is the last book you bought?
I bought? Maybe....herm....I can't remember....Was it The Book Thief?
Are you the type of person that only reads one book at a time or can you read more than one at a time?
I don't read more than one at a time. I can't do it >.<
Do you have a favorite time of day and/or place to read?
I like to read at all times of the day...except at 3:00 at night. It's a silly superstition. I like reading on couches, beds, chairs, anywhere as long as it's not outside.
Do you prefer series books or stand alone books?
Currently alone books. I love certain series but alone books, I don't have to wait for the next one to come out.
Is there a specific book or author that you find yourself recommending over and over?
Uh...... erm...... ... .... Too many to list. Mostly Cassandra Claire.
How do you organize your books? (By genre, title, author’s last name, etc.?)
First Genre and then by size and how long the book is. If it's long, then it over shadows the other books and you won't be able to see the title....So it has to go at the beginning of the shelf so it doens't impose. How would YOU like to be on a shelf next to a big long book and not be noticed, hmmm? *sorry, I personify my books often*

Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack? Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal
Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you? the only time I write in a book is to create a glossary in the back if there is alot of words I do't know
How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears? Bookmarks only, I would never dog-ear a page.
Laying the book flat open? nope
Fiction, Non-fiction, or both? Both, mainly fiction, but also local history and WW2 non-fiction.
Hard copy or audiobooks? Hard copy
Are you a person who tends to read to the end of chapters, or are you able to put a book down at any point? I read anytime I have a chance so as long as I stop at a new paragraph I'm good
If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away? If I can't get the gist of the word then I look it up. I also tend to look up the phonetic spelling of a word if I can't figure out how to say it right.
What are you currently reading? When Gods Die by C.S. Harris
What is the last book you bought? Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison
Are you the type of person that only reads one book at a time or can you read more than one at a time? Usually I read one book at a time, but if I'm having a hard time getting into a book then I put it in time out and start a new one.
Do you have a favorite time of day and/or place to read? I would read all day every day if I could. I get so pissed when I'm at work reading on break and I have to stop when the book is getting so good. I love to read outside if its nice.
Do you prefer series books or stand alone books? I love reading series, because I love getting attached to the characters like they are my friends and family. With a series you have longer to get attached to the characters.
Is there a specific book or author that you find yourself recommending over and over? There are so many, but some of my favorites are Charlaine Harris, Jefferson Bass, Adriana Trigiani. I try to be diverse.
How do you organize your books? (By genre, title, author’s last name, etc.?) The books I love most always go on the top shelf, authors in order of series. The lower the shelf the less I like the book.

Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack? Hmm... When I'm reading I tend to put the book down to eat so that I don't get crumbs all in the binding XDXDXD Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you? I'm always tempted to mark the spots that I like in the book but I've never actually done it. How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears? I tend to use a bookmark if it's my own book or a book I've borrowed from a friend but if it's one from the library that has already been puppy eared to death I'll just do that instead since one more won't hurt~ Laying the book flat open? It all just depends on the kind of book, if it's soft cover than I would never do that for more than a few minutes since it could leave a dent XDXD But if it's a hardcover book I have no remorse for leaving it open somewhere for a while. Fiction, Non-fiction, or both? I tend to enjoy fiction more since it can take me places where I could never go in reality, but I have read a few non-fiction books in my day. Hard copy or audiobooks? I prefer hard copies but if it's something I just can't seem to push myself through and am desperate to just finish it I will listen to the audio book. Are you a person who tends to read to the end of chapters, or are you able to put a book down at any point? Since I mostly read at school I don't have much choice of when to stop, but when I'm reading at home I prefer it when I leave at the end of the chapter. If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away? I normally just make an educated guess based on the rest of it :3;;;; But if I'm really clueless I'll write it down and look it up next chance I get. What are you currently reading? City of Glass by Cassandra Clare What is the last book you bought? F My Life Are you the type of person that only reads one book at a time or can you read more than one at a time? The most I can read at a time is two, otherwise plot points start getting mixed up and I'm just lost XDXD Do you have a favorite time of day and/or place to read? If I'm reading at home I prefer to read at night and in my bed <3 Do you prefer series books or stand alone books? Both are good, but I would prefer a stellar stand alone book in comparison to a series that loses its flame halfway through Is there a specific book or author that you find yourself recommending over and over? I've told many many people to read The Mortal Instruments Series, two have <3 How do you organize your books? (By genre, title, author’s last name, etc.?) I tend to have an area designated for them and I was going with size of the book until I ran out of room, now I just shove them in that general area and tell myself I'll deal with them later XDXD
