1-Born of Night I just finished this for the book challenge. At first I was a little apprehensive about reading this. I'm not a sci-fi reader.Although I have read a few in the past. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I guess you would more classify it as sci-fi/romance I loved the main characters as well as the supporting ones. The story was non stop,I didn't find there were slow spots at all. There were ever sad parts. I found it took some getting used to jumping back and forth on the narration though but once you got used to it, it was fine. There was one spot where I was angry with Kiara. When he killed his step-brother.She was so upset over the killings. I couldn't understand how she couldn't see it was kill or be killed. The guy had a gun to her head, how could she be upset that he killed him.At least she eventually understood. I loved the ups and downs of their relationship too.He always felt unworthy but she loved him no matter what. It was a shocker to find out who he really was.wow.didn't see that one coming. He went from Assassin to father/husband in a short time but Ms.Kenyon pulls if off so well. I really enjoyed this book.I will definitely be getting the others. Can't wait to read about Syn.Loved him.

I really like this series makes me want to read her other series, as well. I actually read Born of Fire (Syn's book) first, so I kind of knew what was going to happen in Born of Night. But there was a few surpise in there that I didn't expect and I liked that. Now, I'm going to read Born of Ice.

I just finished this book (i know im behind, lol) but i really liked it. When i started it and they they were talking about the planets i was like what am i reading....i even called Ivy cause i didn't know the book was sci-fi, lol. I was getting frustrated when Kiara kept getting upset about him killing the people who were out to get her and Nykirian. I just didn't know why it took her so long to understand. I have to say I was so upset when I found out that Nykirian had a daughter with Driana. Don't ask me why but I felt the jealousy for Kiara even though she was fine with it. I couldn't believe all the pain Nykirian went through and how he could still be so great but I guess that's Kiara that brings that out in him. I enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read the others!
