So there will be a sequel? I'm glad to hear that because I didn't like this ending if this was going to be only book. When is it supposed to be released? The rape was a shock, but I knew those two would come to blows,he hated her so much something was bound to happen.I wish she had the chance to kill him though. I also wish Sorina would have died. I mean all the build up and they both live.I so wanted her dead. But I guess that will happen in the sequel I was wishing Lysandra and Catuvolcos would end up together too.She went through so much I was hoping she would let him in and comfort her and be there for her as more than friends. I'd like to see what she does with the Ludus, will she run it,set them free, will the trainers stay. vilmarys when you said the thing with Balbus and Nikos was shocking did you mean Balbus and Eros? And what did you think was a shock? The fight scene I think were written so well. You felt like you were right there watching the fights. He really went into detail with them which made the book that much better. I liked the pace of the book,I didn't find there were down times in it.There was always something going on. I did mean Balbus and Eros...sorry, lol. I have no idea where i got Nikos from. I did not expect that they were intimate. I had no idea that was even coming that is why i thought it was a shock. I also wanted Sorina dead but that will happen in the next book, hopefully. Im also glad that Catavulcos and Lysandra were just friends. He has a thing for Doris so I wouldn't expect him to fall back for Lysandra. I loved the fight scenes as well Balbus and Eros had an "intimate scene" early on in the book. When they woke up one morning.Wasn't much of a scene but it told you they were together

I really did like this book. It was very hard to put down. I give this book 4 out of 5! Ok.... I soo wanted Sorina dead! but now I am glad she did not die because we should get one heck of a sequel! That she came back with an army is crazy! I can't wait for book 2! My only concern is that there is no name or release date for the sequel. I wish that Nastasen had died by Lysandra's hand and not Sorina's, but he died in the terrible way he deserved! Poor Eirianwen.... I felt bad about how she died. I am not even going to get started on Lysandra's rape. I would have liked for Lisandra and Catuvolcos to stay together as a couple. This book was a very good read.

I just finished the book, surpingly good. At first I was like great another gladiator book, but I liked this one. I'm glad there's going to be a sequel. Where to start...Lysandra at first i didn' really like her being arragrant through the book, but i can see now that it got her through alot of what had happen in her life there, but still i wanted to slap her sometimes for it. The whole thing with Nastasen and Lysandra was shocking and sad and wish Lysandra would have gotten to face him in the arena, then again she would haven't face Sorina then. Sorina, that lady has issues. First, with Eirianwen and then with Catuvolcos and Nastasen. I think if she didn't... well we wouldnt have had a book then, huh. Oh, Balbus I can't believe he just up and left there at the end, giving everything to Lysandra.

The book sounds beyond anything I could wrap my head around! ( I lack words of delight! ) Well, right now I just can't wait to read and never let it go! I actually managed to win 1st for a Gladiatrix (with loads of help from my friends, swinging the gigantic ear-buds) during my school's sports competition, so I'm all psyched ;D
