Her new series "The Edge" looks good too. First book is titled ON THE EDGE.

Ilona Andrews is one of the best! I like how they write, both of them "husband and wife". What I like the most is that, it's a page turner!!!...once you start reading it, you won't put it down. *huh* I'm waiting for Kate Daniels book 4, already ordered it and coming out on June 2010, I think.

THE series that got me reading urban fantasy. If you haven't read it, what are you waiting for?!!

I do find that the Kate series gets better as it goes along, though.
Also, am I the only one in the world who didn't warm up to Curran?

I love it. I was getting worried because Magic Strikes by far had the worst cover in the series. I was thinking that the quality may be going downwards, but this one certainly proves me wrong!

I checked their blog earlier today, and saw the new cover. I adore it! So much more improved than the others~! I am finishing up 'On The Edge' and I cannot say enough great things about it! Finished the Kate books right before it on audio (great listen), and I absolutely cannot wait for the next Ilona Andrews book (in either series)!

Magic Strikes looked like an anorexic, jaundiced girl and a photoshopped lion! It was horrible! By comparison, this cover is gorgeous.

The only thing I find odd for this cover is her hair-line...

She does have an extraordinarily large forehead now that you mention it... But she no longer looks anorexic or jaundiced!
...maybe a little bustier than I imagined her, though.

Maybe she's just sticking her chest out. Although that gap in her hair line (hair-part?) seems like a Harry Potter scar.

I am now completely off topic and having Naruto flashbacks regarding large foreheads. ;D Back on topic; a character from the Kate series I really found interesting was Dali. Not necessarily my favorite character in the series, but I really found her just plain interesting to read about. Anybody else intrigued by her?
