Here are some of the books that I am waiting for: Strange Brew: "Seeing Eye" (Anthology) by Patricia Briggs (Quote by Patty: "The short story in Strange Brew is set in the same world as Mercy and the Alpha and Omega series. The anthology is all about witches and so is "Seeing Eye". It's set in Seattle -- and it has a werewolf in it. Best, Patty ") Release July 9, 2009. "Hunting Ground" by: Patricia Briggs Release: August 25, 2009. "Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance 2" ( I want to read the short story by: Ann Aguirre in this anthology) Here is a link for more information www.annaguirre.com/books/mammoth-book-of-vampire-romance-2/ Release: September 21, 2009. Well, there's a couple I am eager to read. They're out already but I haven't gotten my hands on them yet. One's Sergei Lukyanenko's The Last WatchIt's an epic novel with magic and vampires all in one! It's the last and possibly fourth book in the series! Also, The City of Glass by Cassandra Claire. It's a young adult read but very easy to get addicted to. Another is Death's Daughter by Amber Benson (Amber was the actress who played Tara Maclay on the phenomenally uberly awesome show Buffy, The Vampire Slayer)

Okay I have to mention this one!The Strain by Guillermo del Toro, Chuck Hogan And I quote, "Here is one of the few blockbuster paranormal fantasy releases of the summer – The Strain by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan. It's the first installment of a trilogy chronicling "an invasion of vampires" by the guy who created the Oscar-winning Pan's Labyrinth." This is going to be a vampire classic! Everyone's already buzzing about it!

I really recommend The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Its a sci-fi read but nothing about what we generally talk about in this forum! The second book in the series is called Catching Fire and is due out in September. I can't wait! ;D

I came across this book today and was very surprised. It is called "Immortal: Love Stories With Bite" and it's edited by P.C. Cast. Book is due to be released October 2009. I can't wait! ;D Here is the description from Amazon.com Product Description In Immortal: Love Stories With Bite, edited by New York Times bestselling author of the House of Night series P.C. Cast, seven of today's most popular YA vampire and contemporary fantasy authors offer new short stories that prove that when you're immortal, true love really is forever. Rachel Caine (the Morganville Vampires series) revisits the setting of her popular series, where the vampires are in charge and love is risky Cynthia Leitich Smith (Tantalize) gives us a love triangle between a vampire, a ghost and a human girl, in which none of them are who or what they seem Claudia Gray (Evernight) takes us into the world of her Evernight series, in which a pre-Civil War courtesan-to-be is courted by a pale, fair-haired man whose attentions are too dangerous to spurn Richelle Mead (the Vampire Academy series) brings us the tale of a young vampire on the run from the rest of her kind, and the human boy who provides the getaway car Nancy Holder (the Wicked series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) immerses us in a post-apocalyptic New York where two best friends are forced to make a choice that may kill them both Kristin Cast (the House of Night series) introduces us to a new kind of vampire: one with roots in Greek mythology, and the power to alter space and time And Tanith Lee (Black Unicorn) shows us what happens when a bright young woman with some supernatural savvy encounters a misguided (but gorgeous) young vampire About the Author P.C. Cast is the New York Times bestselling author of the House of Night series (Marked, Betrayed, Chosen, Untamed) with her daughter, Kristin Cast.
